21 May Support Your Indies!

Like so many of our small businesses that have been decimated by this pandemic, independent bookstores need our support now more than ever (and we need books more than ever)! Over the last 15 years, I have been blessed to visit countless indie stores across the nation. Their owners and staff have not only welcomed me to amazing events and hand sold my books to their customers but also become some of my best friends. Every week during my Facebook Live chats, I give a shout-out to some of my favorite bookstores, especially those who are in danger of going under and have started Go Fund Me sites to raise money to carry them through this very difficult time. I was also able to do a video for Inside for Indies to bring awareness and support to our indie bookstores. I’ve included that video below.
